Hi Sethu,

Every branch in B.Tech has almost equal content of Mathematics subject as Civil engineers have to calculate using Mathematics, same for Mechanical and Electrical. Yes, software oriented branches slightly have less mathematical content like Computer Science or IT.

As per you say you have completed BSc in mathematics from University of Madras by distance education .this certificate is completely accepted by government. But some of government jobs required graduation on regular basis education you can't apply for these kinds of jobs only
