If you have cleared GATE and completed your Msc then you can try for Phd which can give a new star to your cv or you can work on some good private projects

If you have qualified GATE with Mathematics then you can go for your masters in top institutes like IIT,ISI etc or you can go for Phd .

Also you can go for JRF in different research stations

On an average most colleges in India have a criteria which is at least 50-55% in PCM for general category students and whereas 40-45% for SC/STs as per the relaxation provided by the indian Government. So you can get a sum of PCM and calculate your percentage. And
