In any triangle ABC, show that AB*AB+AC*AC=2(AD*AD+BD*BD)where D is the midpoint of BC

Vishakha Khandelwal 3rd Apr, 2019
Hello Arjun,

This question uses multiple properties of triangles.
The line joining one vertex of a triangle and the midpoint of the side opposite to the vertex is perpendicular to that side.
This means that AD is the height of the triangle
Now using Pythagoras theorem,
AD^2 = AB^2 +

ELUCIDATE THE CONCEPT OF Z-TEST AND F-TEST IN DETAILS.

ruchika.chauhan Expert 12th Oct, 2018

Hello Aditya,
These are the topics of Quantitative Management.  A z-test is used for testing the mean of a population versus a standard. An F-test is used to compare 2 populations’ variances.
Go through the link below to check the detailed explanation-

Is math required as a subject for graphic or ux design ?

Pritha Roy Choudhury 5th Sep, 2018

Dear Aayushi,

As you aspire to become a graphic or ux designer, having knowledge of some basic principles of science and mathematics is necessary. Your knowledge of  10th standard Mathematics which is used in the day-to-day activities is enough for the entrance exams in most of the institutions.

Hope this

If( costheta+iotasintheta)(cos2theta+ iotasin2theta)so on ( cosntheta+iotasinntheta)=1,then the value of theta is

Avishek Dutta 30th Nov, 2019
(cosx+isinx)*(cos2x+isin2x)**(cosnx+isinnx)=1
The above is our given equation.
Now we have to find the value of x from that.
Now we know the theorem
(cosx1+isinx1)*(cosx2+isinx2)**(cosxn+isinxn)
=cos(x1+X2++xn)+isin(x1+X2++xn)
Hence

(cosx+isinx)*(cos2x+isin2x)**(cosnx+isinnx)=1
cos(xn(n+1)/2)+isin(xn(n+1)/2)=1
hence cos(xn(n+1)/2)=1
hence xn(n+1)/2=2m*pi m is an integer
Sin(xn(n+1)/2)=0
xn(n+1)/2=l*pi l is an integer
Hence x=4m*pi/n(n+1) m is an integer
