Is inclusion of Maths in top 4 mandatory for BA hons in Economics from DU or just having studied and qualified Maths exam at boards above 45 % is sufficient and one can add Economics and other three subjects as per the choics in best of 4 ?
The candidate must have passed in mathematics in 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
Inclusion of one language from list A is necessary and any 3 of the best subjects from list B is compulsory. So, Inclusion of economics in best 4 is compulsory but mathematics is not compulsory.
You can refer to the link given below for more information on the inclusion and calculation of best 4 subjects in BA Hons Economics and various other courses.

I had done 12th pcb in cbse board and applied for maths exam in nios, then i will be eligible for taking admissions in engineering colleges or universities like RGPV etc ?
Hello Vishal!
Yes why not? After passing the Maths subject from NIOS, the grades or marks of the maths subject will add on to your PCB senior secondary passing certificate and marksheet. And then you will meet the requirements of pursuing an engineering course as you passed with PCM subjects in 12th.
NIOS results are accepeted and recognized throughout the country. So, there is no need to worry about your admission in your preferred colleges.
Hope you are clear!

iam a PCB student secured 947/1000 recently i want to get admission in bsc physics but getting admission in b.sc physics is getting harder for me as maths is mandatory can i write inter 1st and 2nd year maths exam next year and get admission? or bridge course?or NIOS board wt shld i do 2 get bscphy
Writing the 1st and 2nd Inter, can require a lot of time. But if you go for the NIOS examination board, then it would be a faster choice. As the NIOS score, is recognized by the Government of India, so you will be able to take admission under most of the state colleges as well as other colleges in India. So my recommendation for you will be to go for the NIOS and you will save some time and resources.
For more information regarding the NIOS consider the link below:

i passed my 12 th with pcb and i intrested in CS so what can i do. i have two options 1. Take BCA or BSC IT 2. take one year drop and give maths exam and go for engeneering... (i dont know very much about this) i want a batter future.. please answer
See Computer Science is a very math oriented field. Right from the first day you'll be dealing with complex problems of Calculus and Linear Algebra along with concepts of Probability and Statistics. So I would suggest you that before making a plunge in computer science, try to make your fundamentals in these mathematical areas strong, otherwise you'll not be able to cope us with the pressure.
If you think that you can manage learning math along with pursuing your BCA or B.Sc degree, then go for it. But if you don't think that you'll be able to manage maths along with your degree, then the only logical option is to take a drop and give the paper of maths.
I hope that the answer I gave will be able to help you to take an informed decision. All the best!
can i give maths exam from nois so that i can give jee mains and become engineer .currently I am in class 12 and i have taken pcb stream
Hi,
Yes definitely ypu can go for NIOS exam for maths to be eligible for appearing in JEE exam.
NIOS is a recognized board if you qualify on demand Mathematics examination from NIOS board yes you're eligible to appear in Jee main.
Admission for NIOS senior secondary is based on your Grade 10 qualification. So, there is no question about which subject you studied in Grade 12 from any Board. You can still enroll for Physics through NIOS On-Demand exam.

Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, as your brother is giving his 12th boards which include Physics , chemistry, biology, English and CS and he also wants to give maths examination now so that is not possible as he has not filled the subject in the current examination. So he would not be able to give Maths examination this year.
Hope you found this answer useful. Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
