As your general rank is 2007, there are less chances for you to get admission in bhu.

1. A total of no less than 60% marks in English/Hindi and a set of three best among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.

It's okay that you are repeating only for the Mathematics but for the AFCAT exam eligibility  you need to do after the repeat  , a degree in the Maths /Physis  as main then you will be able to apply for the exam .

Since you fit to all the criteria asked by your college, unless your college specify or ask for any such gap certificate you does not need to provide the gap certificate. Usually Gap Certificate is asked at the time of Masters but not during your Bachelor's degree after 10+2,
