can CBSE 12th passed student from Biology ( non-maths) eligible for BTECH engineering course? I heard Nation Educational Policy 2020 made this rule that maths is not mandatory for BTECH course. If that is true what colleges are available?

Yes it is true according to new education policy bio students  can take btech . Biotechnology and chemical engineering has less math in it,but atlest you have to three semisters facing the math will be basic and advance of class 12 th maths. Top colleges are lovely professionals university, Delhi

Hi

If you include maths as a 6th subject in your board examination. Then it will become an additional or optional subject as there are only 5 core /compulsory subjects.

And thus you will become ineligible for jee main for BE /BTech

Since you have Physics , chemistry and mathematics in your subject list so you are definitely eligible for the JEE mains examination. The NTA JEE mains criteria states  that the candidate must complete their 12th or any  equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics from any recognized board

If you have officially cleared the compartment exams for subject/s that you have failed, and if you have an aggregate of minimum 55% marks then you are eligible for appearing in college entrances.
