It is mandatory to have mathematics in your 10+2 class in order to get admission in Delhi University. Science courses definitely require mathematics as a main subject to get admission in DU. For commerce courses like BCom and BBA, Mathematics is required to answer the entrance exam

Yes,Maths is compulsory for B.tech Biotechnology. Students who have studied Physics,Chemistry and Biology in the +2 level of exam are eligible to pursue  B.Tech in Biotechnology.However, one must have scored a minimum aggregate of marks in the compulsory group as prescribed by the concerned University or Institutes.
