You marks in boards are good.But for admission in B.tech (engineering) courses in Tamil Nadu or in any City/State you will have to appear for entrance exam.For admission in agriculture engineering course in Tamil Nadu you have options of appear in 3 exams.

You have to first clear the compartment then only you can apply for admission in college. So you should try to give exam next year. Also this time prepare for it well so that you get good colleges because not all colleges are good under IPU
