Yes it is compulsory for IIT JAM exam chemistry .If it is in syllabus but chemistry have numerical  parts which are mathematics only ,Without mathematics there is no science .

what is the opt choice of subjects in AIEEA exams ? I have studied 10+2 physics, chemistry, biology, maths are my subjects, but I am not confident in physics, shall I go for agri, chemistry and biology as option

I would say it's not a right choice. You have studied PCMB subject çombinations in class 12th. So, you need to mark the PCB option in ICAR AIEEA. I don't think opting agriculture in this case is possible. And, you have a disadvantage there. Agriculture is not as

You should definitely consider DU over Amity University. It does not matter that you didn't have maths in class 12th.

The exposure and experience you will get in DU cannot be compared to others. Plus you will get better placement offers in Delhi University. Also salary package offered is

If you are failed in your 10nth examination then without passing that you would not be eligible for any further standard .
For getting admission in 12th standard you must have cleared your 11vnth standard  and for 11vnth one must have passed their 10nth standard
