Yes it is necessary for you to take Maths and pass it with minimum marks to get admission in SRCC for both B.Com and BA degrees. The only criteria is to have Maths either as a main Subject or optional but it has to be there in the list.

Yes, as far as Delhi University is concerned Mathematics is compulsory to be added in best four to pursue BA(H) Economics.But there are many more universities which offer BA-Eco. without having math in 12th. Now it depends on the eligibility criteria of the University offering you this course.

Improvement examination is given to the students who were unable to perform well in the boards examination. The chemistry and maths attempting paper would be of 100 marks and the passing marks would be the same as they were in boards examination.
