If you do bsc in any of the above subject you can do msc in that subject. After that you can work as a junior research fellow or you can pursue ph.D

Maths in 10+2 is important for students who are going for engineering, and B.SC degree's like Mathamatics, Physics and Chemistry.
For Commerce students Statistics is Important, Also for those who are taking professional Courses like B.Com with C.A or ACCA or with BBA.

In karnataka the 11th and 12th are considered as PUC1st year(Pre university) and 2nd year respectively this just for the karnataka state board.

Now coming to your question if you want to study your 11th in karnataka board then mainly you get two choices either BIology or computer
