Hi sir/madam, Im doing my 2nd bsc, I scored 86percentage in 10th (CBSe), then I scored 58percentage in 12th matric, and 68percent in my 1st year, tell me whether I can do my masters in IIM? Im from schedule caste background

pkp.inutail 8th Dec, 2020

Greetings,

Unfortunately, you should not consider at least the top 4-5 IIMs for your admissions as they pay  a lot of weightage to a student's overall academic history. Now there are still a lot of great business schools even IIM's (newer ones like Udaipur, etc.) where you can apply and get admission with good CAT scores.

You will need to get some redemption points in your bucket though, what I mean by that is you will have to have a pretty solid CAT percentile, decent academic record in your coming semesters, good internship experience and some co-curricular experience if you can get that. These things can vastly improve your prospects of getting into one of the good newer IIMs or other colleges even if your past academic record is not that great.

good luck

I want to ask that which scholarship is good for btech (NIT) Up post matric other than inter OR National Scholarship (NSP).What are their amount of scholarships.

AKSHAYA.V.A. 13th Nov, 2020

Hello!

National scholarship is better from many perspective. First of all I would like to educate about the scholarship amount. National scholarship provides you with 50,000 per year and in National scholarship itself, they are further classified into many schemes like Pragati, central scholarship scheme etc. Where as UP post matric scholarship provides you with 10,000 per year. For national scholarship more no of candidates will be applying only for the one who submits perfect documents can avail the scholarship. Hope you got some idea as well as the answer.

Thank You

I have paid the partial admission fees of josaa for nit and it is said that it will be included in fees. I belong to oec so I am eligible to apply for oec post matric scolarship so I want to know whether the fees will be refundedafter getting scolarship

Jay Singh 12th Nov, 2020

Hi. No the fees won't be returned per your scholarship. It may be returned but only if you satisfy the conditions of fee waiver they have kept. Scholarship will aid you in getting money for your studies instead of getting it back. You can talk to the officials of nit or maybe josaa regarding your query . They will provide you a detailed feedback.

Hope this helps.

Divyanshi Lal 4th Dec, 2020

Hello aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

The DU PG eligibility criteria include a set score or degree that the candidates are expected to acquire or possess to be able to take the DUET online examination.

The eligibility criteria differs for various programs and as you haven't mentioned the particular course or program under which you are seeking admission in. So, I am providing you the link where you will find the eligibility criteria for all the PG programs and there you can search for your course as well. There you will find a detailed description of the eligibility criteria for both merit-based and entrance based admission.
