which is better nit bhopal(mechanical engineering) or lnmiit(cce)?

SHARON ABRAHAM 5th Oct, 2020
Hello there,

In any case NIT Bhopal would be a better choice to offer. If you do not get in any NIT's then you can think of LNMIIT but the first preference should be the other one.

I'm attaching a list of NIT's for you reference.

Anurag Khanna 5th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have no chances of getting CSE branch in MANIT Bhopal as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-

CSE - 1279 (closing rank for ST Female of other state)

For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-manit-bhopal

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors, so to get an idea we can use last year's cut-offs.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges  based upon your percentile and category :-

Hello, I scored 87.21 percentile in JEE MAINS 2020 and my CRL rank is 136975 and OBC NCL rank is 42251. What should be my college prefernce? Can I get MANIT bhopal with any branch?

Ayush Singh 5th Oct, 2020
Hello Candidate!!
As you said about the marks, you have got 87%ile in JEE Mains with 136000+ AIR, The marks is not that much but not bad also.
With this rank you have surely qualified for attempting the JEE Advance also. But taking JEE Mains into consideration, you can actually get good colleges.

If you will try for the NITs, IIITs then you might get good colleges also but there is less chance for the good stream also. If you will wait till the last round of Counselling, you can grab the seat.
You asked for the MANIT Bhopal, but I am Sorry to say that "Looking at the previous years cut-off trends, you will not be able to get the seat in any of the stream."

But don't lose hope, you have a lot of other options and I want to mention that, There are lot of nice private colleges also which give much better placements and through counselling, you can take admissions in that.

Because of this COVID-19 Pandemic, many colleges had declared the process of admission on the basis of both JEE Mains marks as well as 12th Board Marks also.
So , This give much better chance to all the candidates to get enrolled in the institutions.
If you have scored well in your Board Exams, then might you will get better stream with the good college also.
This is the best alternative, I feel and you can check for the colleges on your basis of marks from this link also:

Don't at all feel bad about anything, you have tried well in the exams and All The Best for your future!!

Hope that my information helped you.

NIT Bhopal Mech or IIIT Guwahati CSE? (CRL rank - 19k) Planning to do higher studies in either branches, with interest in aerospace engineering (more interested) / AI & ML. But scope of aerospace in India is less than that of CSE, therefore I cant decide whether I should take Mech or CSE.

Nitya 4th Oct, 2020
Hello,
As per 2020 ranking for engineering colleges,
NIT Bhopal is ranked 65
IIIT Guwahati is ranked 66
But, what matters more is your interest, go through the syllabus of all the streams you have chances of getting, then decide, because no matter what is the branch if you are not able to perform well in that stream you will regret in the end.

my ST category rank is 3067 from telangana, can I get metallurgical engineer in NIT Jaipur or NIT Bhopal?

shreyashdhoke30 17th Oct, 2020

As you are saying that your ST category Rank is 3067 there are less chances of getting it Because you are Belonging from Other State Quota.
But one of my friend getting Metallurgical Branch in MANIT Bhopal in 2018 having more than 3200+ rank but he is getting this branch becuase he is belonging from the home state quota.
Instead Of MANIT OR MNIT you can get easily metallurgical/Biomedical engineering at NIT RAIPUR.

But fill out the option correctly so that you can get better college
This is Year 2020 Everything is happen is unpredictable. so it hopes you can get MANIT.

what can i do after completion of my m tech at manit bhopal in materials science and technology ? is there any possibility to get good job opportunities with decent salary package??pls ans...

Shoaib Akhtar 3rd Oct, 2020

Hello there

After doing your mtech  either you go on to further studies or get a job .First if you want to do further studies then in my view you should appear in gate exam and other exams for doing phd . You can also do mba  which is really a very good course after Mtech or you just prepare for any civil services exams .

You can get a lot of job based upon your mtech . Prepare your cv and upload it on some job providing websites like indeed ,naukari.com ,sarkari naukari.com etc .There you can get a good idea about the designations and salary range you can get .Further you can also go for teaching ,civil cervices and other corporate fields .

Dear, sir/mam I am getting lower branches in NIT (BHOPAL, AGARTALA, AP, DURGAPUR, HAMIRPUR, RAIPUR, ) And good branched through YMCA faribad, UIT Chandigarh, HBTU, WBJEE ,UPTU which should 8 prefer. Please help......

Samarth Laghate 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

As you are getting a chance of studying in NIT means that you scored well in JEE mains 2020 so first of all congratulations for that. I would like to suggest you that you should first make your thoughts clear so that you will take decision properly.

That is there should decision of taking admission according to your preferences. As if you are willing to study in NIT then it should be better to take admission there because with low branches in NIT also you should make your career bright because as these are the very good institutions so branch doesn't matter a lot.

But if your preference is to any of the specific branch then you have to go with that because according to me you have to study in that branch in which you have interest then there should be no any relevance of any college that it is NIT or not.

So I would like to suggest you to be clear with your thoughts and then think also on your goal which will also help you in planning. So plan well and choose that you  truely want to do.

Also If you want to predict some other good colleges for you according to your preferences then you must go through our college predictor tool which will help you definitely.
