Hi Ashish, thanks for your query.
There is good chance for your rank in 5th round. Looking at previous years trend, your rank candidates get good branch in NIT. Visit the following link for more information on previous year allotment according to your category:

Hey Aaditya,
As you can see, most probably getting a seat is difficult. But if the students who have the required rank, don't take admission, as they may go for another college or course, you may get admission as they will have seats and they will surely prefer to take people in rather than just refusing to reduce the rank.
All the PhD students are required to pay the hostel fees and the college will not provide any form of Housing and Renting Allowances for the same. The PhD students will be accomodated in single seater fully furnished rooms of Hostel 11 Appu Bhavan in Manit. The fees for the same is Rs 20,500 per semester. This fees does not include the mess charges which are Rs 20,000 per year.
I am sorry to inform you that the information you are looking for cannot be found on this platform or any other platform online. The reason is that MANIT has not declared the PhD syllabi online on it's officia website. Therefore you would have to physically approach the Department of Applied Mathematics to know furthur in this regard.
Hey shaurya!
Both the colleges are good in their own ways.
But if you want a comparison between them , then let me tell you that there are many factors on the basis of which any college can be termed as better or worse.
I am giving you a comparison analysis between both the colleges with respect to many factors :
hostels
SVNIT , Surat is much better .
The rooms are so well maintained. You can also get single occupanct rooms.
Infrastructure
Again SVNIT is better
Academics
Both are equal. But in some branches like CS /IT , Surat lags behind.
Placements ;
Again , SVNIT is better in terms of placements.
Hope it helps!
Hello,
Based upon the information that you have provided you have been not selected in the third round for B.Arch.Now regarding the further rounds of admissions,it depends upon the total number of students woh have taken admission till the third round and the vacancy available along with the most important factor which is the closing rank which will be released.Nowadays due to tough comeptition in between few ranks there are hundreds of students.
Now you have secured a good SC category rank for admission.Wait for the cutoffs to be released. You have chances of admission.
Thank you.
