Hi Vishnu. You are eligible to sit for both the exam papers offered by UGC NET i.e. code-55 for General Management and code-17 for HR. It is just that code-17 is easier than code-55 but you will get opportunities after clearing the code-55 general management paper. If you are more familiar with the HR concepts, i recommend you to go for code-17 paper.

For Post-graduate programmes, such as MBA in HRD and MBA in IB, Delhi University employs the CAT percentile to short-list students. IIMs are not involved in the selection process or the administration of MBA programmes. DU MBA admission to HRD and IB programmes is based on a three-tiered approach that includes the CAT percentile, matriculation, SSC and HSC marks, and GD and Interview scores.
