My neet AIQ rank is 673243 and I am ST can I get mbbs seat in govt medical college And my category rank is 27479 I am ST can I get govt medical college in Maharashtra state

Bipasha 22nd Jul, 2025

With an AIQ rank of 673243 and ST category rank of 27479, the chances of getting an MBBS seat in a Government Medical College in Maharashtra are very low. ST candidates do have relaxed cutoffs, but usually, the cutoff for ST in government colleges is under 1.5–2 lakh. You may try for private colleges under ST quota or wait for mop-up rounds.

In neet my AIQ rank is 673243 can I get mbbs seat in govt medical college

Sudip Patra 17th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant

Unfortunately you can not get admission with this 673243 rank in a government MBBS college due to the All India quota is 15% which cover a little bit number of students from the whole number of students .

Inspite of having a 85% State Quota , it is too difficult to get admission in a government MBBS college.

In GSEB Class 12 I failed In main board exam and also in supplement exam and than I passed board exam in 2025 in March Than I will get admission In MBBS After clearing NEET 2025

Bipasha 17th Jul, 2025

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NEET 2025 if you pass your Class 12 exam with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and minimum marks. As long as your final board marksheet is valid and you meet NEET eligibility criteria, you can apply for MBBS admissions in 2025.

in state counselling in hp for mbbs priv college in MMMH the closing cuttoff mentioned for extended stray round (2024) is 5.8 L is that for state seat or management seat ?

OISHEE BANERJEE 17th Jul, 2025

Hi! That 5.8 lakh figure mentioned for the extended stray round at MMMH is for the management quota seat, not the state quota seat. Here's a clearer breakdown:

• State quota seats in Himachal Pradesh are allocated through merit-based counselling with NEET ranks—no fee like 5.8 lakh is involved.
• Management quota seats in private colleges like MMMH require payment of a fee, which is what the 5.8 lakh refers to.

So, if you're aiming under the state quota, you should look for closing ranks or cutoff marks rather than that fee amount.

Hello aspirant,

Thanks for reaching out!

With 434 marks in NEET and an AP rank of 5812,under the BC-B category in Andhra Pradesh, your chances of getting an MBBS seat in Govt college are moderate but not certain .though it's unlikely to get into top government colleges, you hold a good chance for mid-level or peripheral government institutions ,especially in later counselling rounds.keep options open for semi - government or private colleges and participate in all counselling rounds to improve your chances.

With 311 marks in NEET 2025 and being from the BC-D category ,getting an MBBS seat in Govt Colleges is tough, as cut-offs are usually higher.however you have chances in private colleges or under management/NRI quota seats , depending on your state counsiling and fees

Need guidance for upcoming mbbs admission councelling 2025

Nikita shahi 16th Jul, 2025

Hello,

If you’ve cleared NEET 2025 and want to take admission in MBBS, then understanding the counselling process is very important. There are two types of counselling – All India Quota (AIQ), which is done by MCC, and State Quota, which is conducted by individual state authorities from the state you belong to.

In AIQ counselling, 15% government medical seats and all seats in deemed universities are filled. You need to register on the MCC official website once the schedule is out. For state quota seats (85%), visit your respective state's counselling portal.Make sure you have your NEET scorecard, documents, and category certificates ready. Also, check previous year cutoffs to get an idea of the colleges you can target. And also be careful while filling choices and always keep some backup options.

How much score should I have in neet 2025 to apply for kashmiri migrants quota for mbbs in colleges of delhi or wherever quota is applicable and I belong to general category

OISHEE BANERJEE 15th Jul, 2025

For NEET 2025, candidates applying under the Kashmiri Migrant quota in the General category typically require a score in the range of 330 to 380 to be considered for MBBS seats. In past years, some admissions under this quota have been secured with scores around 340, especially in the later rounds of counselling.

However, to increase your chances of admission, especially in more competitive colleges or in Delhi, it is advisable to aim for a score of 380 or higher. A score of 400 or above would place you in a stronger position across most colleges that accept candidates under the Kashmiri Migrant quota.

This quota generally offers some relaxation compared to the open General category cutoffs, which often exceed 600 marks, particularly for top government medical colleges.

Hey! Im Aayushi scoring 434 marks in neet 2025 with all India rank 148104. Is there any chance to get any mbbs/bds college with this rank? Im general with delhi domicile

Taabia Fathima 15th Jul, 2025

Hello Aayushi,

Thanks for reaching out!

with 434 marks and AIR 148104 in NEET 2025,it's difficult to get an MBBS seat in Govt college for a general Delhi candidate,as cut-offs are much higher , Private or deemed universities might be possible  but fees are higher.

For BDS,you might have a chance in private colleges though cut-offs range from 440-500 plus you've very limited options in Delhi due to high competition.

If you're open to nearby options you may get a chance here:

IDST dental college,Modinagar

Inderprastha Dental college, Ghaziabad

Santhosh Dental college, Ghaziabad

You can also explore courses like BAMS,BHMS,BPT with lower cutoffs and good careers.

Join counselling and keep an eye on final rounds of allotment for possible BDS seats.
