The candidates with 40% of visual disability or more than40% are not eligible to pursue the Graduate Medical Education. Candidates who have less than 40% of visual disability are eligible, but they do not qualify for reservation as they do not fulfil benchmark.

See it depends upon the type of disability because thereare various kind of disabilities such as Visual disability/mental/hearing or some other kinds of disability. In some disabilities if the candidate is having more than or equal to 40% disability then he/she is not considered eligible for medical courses

Hello aspirant,

No, class 12 marks are not taken into account for admission into medical/dental colleges. However, the following is the minimum marks required for admission-

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  • Class 12 or equivalent
