Hello, The whole duration for both course is same but MBBS is based on medicine and surgery , but bams is only based on ayurvedic medicine
Also main difference is course in MBBS course is very vast as compare to BAMS.
And level of MBBS course is far more better

As you've not mentioned your category I'll take it as general. You have less chances for private colleges as the cutoff is above 300 for general category. If you're ST category you have chances of getting private college for mbbs.
