I have get 475 marks in neet 2024 and belongs to sc women category and from AP may I get a chance to get government seat mbbs

kumardurgesh1802 16th Jul, 2024

Hey there,

Yes, your chances of securing a government MBBS seat in Andhra Pradesh with a score of 475 marks in NEET 2024 and belonging to the SC women category are good. Here's why:

  • SC Women Category: This category benefits from significant reservation in government medical colleges.

  • Previous Years' Trends: While confirmed cutoffs for 2024 aren't available yet, looking at past trends for the SC women category in Andhra Pradesh is helpful. Scores in the range of 450-480 have offered good possibilities for government medical colleges within the state.

I have got 187 in neet I can get mbbs seat

mjaisinghani62 22nd Jun, 2024

Hello aspirant

I am sorry to say but with 187 marks you won't be eligible to get mbbs .

With 187 score you have got 23 more marks than cut off  so which course and college you will get depends upon neet ug cut off .

This year cut off is high. Cut off changes every year and depends upon various factors including number of students appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam,  seat intake and previous year's cut off.

The qualifying marks fir neet 2024 is 50th percentile For general category candidate ie score 720 - 164 .

For sc/st and obc category it is 40th percentile ie score between 163 to 129.
