There is a total intake of 60 seats in the GGITS MCA programme. The MCA course at GGITS Jabalpur is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. Admission to the GGITS MCA programme includes a counselling procedure completed in various rounds as per the guidelines of the Department of Technical Education, Government of MP.

For admission under Management Quota, the candidate needs to appear for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) or appear and qualify under any approved entrance examination conducted by the authority recognised by the government of Karnataka/VTU/any other University of Karnataka state. For admission under the Government quota, ranks obtained in the PGCET exam conducted by KEA will be considered. Then, an admission committee consisting of college officials will conduct an interview and select the candidates for admission to the MCA programme.

Candidates must have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree or passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at graduation Level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University).

The distribution of seats for MCA Programme at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur is as follows- No seats for any State Quota, 50% of the seats for Open Category Candidate, 27% for OBC Candidate, 15% & 7.5% for SC & ST candidates respectively.

To become a part of NERIST Nirjuli, students have to meet the eligibility criteria for the course they want to apply for. The admission criteria are different for different courses. The institute will conduct NERIST NEE for admissions to various courses. Eligible candidates have to register for the counselling and NERIST admissions are offered based on their ranks.

AP PGECET/ AP ICET scores can be accepted by JNTUK for MCA.
