Hello Aspirant,
No there is no requirement of any special permission from MCI or any other authority because for now the NIOS students are also provisionally eligible for MBBS admission through NEET UG, so if you have passed 12th from NIOS then also you can directly register for NEET UG.
Also you should satisfy the following eligibility criterion for NEET UG :-
** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.
** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.
** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.
** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
For complete details about NEET Eligibility criteria kindly check out the link given below :-

Hello,
To pursue a diploma in diabetology, the candidate must have a valid MBBS degree from an MCI recognised institution. Following MCI recognised colleges offer a 3 year long Diploma in Diabetology course-
1. Madras Medical College
2. Christian Medical College, Vellore
3. Dr. MGR Medical College, Tamil Nadu
4. King George's medical college, Lucknow
5. Christian Medical College, Ludhiana
Fee structure for a government college is around INR 8000 - INR 10,000 per annum and from a private institution, it will be around INR 60,000- INR 2 lakh per annum.
Hope it helps!
there are a lot of technicalities we are not aware of. we can only hope for better days. the MCI selectively including some colleges and courses and not the others is out of our scope. thus we can choose the colleges that maximum match our choice of a dream college and apply there
Hello Student
Being a foreign MBBS student you cannot do pg in medicine or you cannot work as a doctor because according to UGC noms foreign medical graduate can not even take admission in pg education in medicine.A foreign medical graduate until or unless passed MCI screening test, can not get permission for either take education or work as a doctor in India.without passing the screen test a foreign medical graduate certificate is taken alike a piece of paper.
Hope this will help.
Yes to study medicine abroad, one of the requirements is that you submit an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India at the time of admission to Foreign Medical Universities. Candidates with a postgraduate medical degree obtained in the countries of Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States of America need not appear in FMGE 2021 screening test as they can directly register with MCI/SMC.
Hello dear,
No, you do not require your class 11 mark sheet to appear for the MCI Screening Exam (FMGE/NEXT exam). The main document needed is the degree certificate of your primary medical qualification. Here is the list of documents required-
The application is INR 7080 (including GST).
MCI has authorized several German universities and nominees pursuing PG in medicine from these colleges are competent for practice in our country.
The leading universities include Humboldt University , Philipps University , and the University of Heidelberg
A candidate not from MCI approved institutions, subsequently, is not competent for the MCI screening test FMGE before obtaining your PG degree, hence you are not qualified for practice in our country.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
Hi, the information that you have shared is a little incomplete. Where do you wish to pursue your degree? What degree do you wish to pursue? If you wish to study MBBS in Russia then Students have to qualify the class 12th examination and obtain marks according to the set Medical Council of India (MCI) guidelines. There is an MCI screening test for students applying for admission in Russia and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) has to be obtained from the same to be eligible. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.
