I am a CA Final student having 3 yrs (including 1 yr as Industrial Trainee in Finance in Foreign Bank). I am also graduated Mcom & Bcom. Can my 3 yrs of CA articleship qualify as experience for MAT exam??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 27th Nov, 2019

Shruthi, your articleship is not counted as work experience. This is because you completed your articleship as a part of mandatory experience as per the ICAI guidelines and this doesn't add as your professional experience. Even IIMs do not consider articleship as work experience while shortlisting for CAT admissions.

I have passed my Mcom part 1 exam in 2014 from Mumbai university (IDOL) can I apply for part 2 exam in 2020?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 17th Nov, 2019

hi,

see it totally depends on that particular university from which you have applied for m.com (//m.com) . however most of the cases it will not consider as there is 6 years of gap. you need to enroll for again m.com (//m.com) from first year. most of the university consider 5 years duration for masters. so a maximum of 3 years gap is allowed.

however delhi institute of professional studies offers mtech of 1 year. follow the below link to know about 1 year m.com (//m.com) course.

im pursuing mcom degree now.. i wanted to take admission to mba in this year but my graduation marks are less than 50% ., can i take addmission on the basis of PG marks??? it is valid.? Please help me

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Dec, 2019

Varun, MBA is a Post Graduation course whose eligibility is to have a Bachelor's degree. Now all the major entrance examinations have a pre requisite that you ought to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in your Bachelor's degree to be eligible for MBA entrance examinations. What you study beyond the basic eligibility criteria is just another qualification which isn't considered. So your M.Com (//M.Com) marks unfortunately will not be considered.

Sanjanaleekha 15th Nov, 2019

Hi there,

You can do LLB from an autonomous college and then pursue M. com from Mumbai University but these two should not be done together, you should pursue either one of the two courses first and then the subsequent one and not the two courses simultaneously.
