The prerequisites for appearing for GATE are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma).
• Pursuance of the second or higher year of a four-year integrated Master’s degree program (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.

Weel it is right that in NIT TRICHY if you don't take admissions in Mtech course then your money is refunded by the college. You need to visit the official website. Their college will release a notice regarding the refund. You need to fill up the form for the refund

PGCET for MTECH have opened their registration from 19th May 2019 to 10th June 2019. Admit card will be start issuing from 20th June to get the location for the exam and exam will be held on 15th July, 2019 followed by release of answer key on 18th
