The placement scenario after M.Tech(Non Cse/IT) is average in NITs. It actually varies from college to college. Like NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal have good placements for M.tech candidates as well. But NIT Bhopal, NIT Nagpur can't provide lucrative placements.
