I have completed my ug in engineering stream it is better to study MBA or M.E

abhinav munagala 15th Aug, 2019

Actually Hanish its up to you because MbA and ME are both having their own priorities and they are having thier own pros and cons. But I can suggest MBA to take because it is easy to study when compared to ME and also it is as well to settle. But really it'll be up to you.

Environmental engineering m.tech if you want to get a GATE on something

akshaevelin27_9770651 Student Expert 15th Aug, 2019

Hello aspirant,

Current status of M tech in Environmental engineering  is

  1. Most of Post gradution as of M tech , institutes are not well adquate about teaching and providing thorugh knowledege about branch.
  2. This branch awareness has grown but Institutes only suck money but never give you exposure of industry and placements.
  3. Suppose you complete mtech but getting jobs is highly difficult because of no field knowledge and for design you don't have experience .
  4. Anyhow if you get jobs what shall be salary ..it's less than b tech fresher gets  ..around 10k-15k .
  5. I prefer you do Post graduation in Environmental engineering either from IIT or Abroad (M S)
  6. Only advantage of doing M tech is you can go for teaching line and pursue PhD  and PhD will depend upon guide selection and research arena .
  7. These all above are facts and if you want know exactly .. Visit all aluminis and ask their opinion .

Someone who has done M.sc environmental science can do M.tech environmental engineering on a subject with GATE?

akshaevelin27_9770651 Student Expert 15th Aug, 2019

Hello aspirant,

Candidates wishing to apply for the course of M.Tech Environmental Engineering need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • Completion of B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent  degree
  • A minimum aggregate score of 60% in graduation

So it seems quite difficulty for a student who has done M.Sc Environmental Science to do M.Tech Environmental Engineering on a subject with GATE.

Hope this will be helpful...

Im doing environment science B.sc how can do it study m.tech environment engineer

Ankhi Banerjee 15th Aug, 2019

Hi,

It would be better if could pursue a degree in B.E. or B.Tech in either computer science or IT or biotechnology or environmental science in order to pursue this programme. Even if you pursue masters in programming or mathematics or sciences, you will be considered eligible for M.Tech environment engineering.
