You have chances for following IITs like IIT Roorkee, IIT kanpur, IIT kanpur. Apart from these old you can get many new IITs. You can get almost all NITs. And colleges like IIIT Jabalpur, DTU delhi, COE pune etc..

Hello aspirant, 

Sorry to say that there is no chances to get a seat in one of the NITs.But you may have chances with any university with this score based on previous year trends.For getting seat at NITs, you have to score around 70 marks out of 100.

Is doing mtech from iit or good nit in electrical worth it ? As I have seen people they go in teaching feild but they dont get a job

It is obviously good and even better to do ur higher studies from the good colleges of the country which will give u an extra edge in ur profile. 

Doing M.tech from the IITs doesn't assure u of getting job but if provides u with the better knowledge

hi,

yes u need to appear for srm jeee for PG courses which is conducted by SRM universityuniversity.. exam location will be major cities of India. however you will get extra credit during counselling for securing gate score. if u have 50% in UG you can appear for the test.

Yeah you have opportunities to take over the state Government Engineering Institutions but not the Institute's like nit or IIT because the cuttoff for these institutions for the Mechanical domain is high which will be in the range of 50+ for the General Category and for the reserved

Based on your gate score you can get 

IITs like-madras

NITs like-jaipur, calicut,  bhopal, surat, patna , silchar, agartalla, trichy

You can also get IIIT Jabalpur , COE pune.

You have low chances for DTU, ISM dhanbad

Hello Narayana,

Since you have achieved 57 marks in the gate examinations, you have a chance to get admission in the IIT's or the NIT's.
but as u mentioned in OBC category, you still might get a chance.
