You need to appear for the GATE and secure really good marks/rank to get into the DTU.There are around 25 seats in each branch.... 9 are for Gate rankholders general category…
.9 for gate qualified resrved category…
And rest are for sponsored and partime category.

Hi Amjad , Students form any state in India is eligible to get admission in DTU. JEE main scores are considered to take admission in the DTU. In NSIT also admission is on basis of Jee mains. So other state students can get admission in NSIT also.

There is a basic difference between the two, i.e. MS is a science program and MTech is a technology program. Nowadays technology is more in use as technology is the future. You need a 3 years bachelor's degree to get into MS and a 4 year's bachelors degree for Mtech.

As of now gate in not offered in biomedical engineering. It is better for the students of biomedical to choose the subjects such as instrumentation engineering and electronics and communication engineering for giving away the gate exam.
