Hiii...

nit trichy is good for b tech courses but not for m tech, especially energy engineering. They don't have proper faculty to teach subjects,they don't have proper labs,their labs are not accredited by NBA,and most importantly there's no placements for m tech energy engineering students

You can definately get some good college with your score if you want to go for higher education.You need not to take any drop.

The marks that can be scored in a particular set of GATE depends totally on the difficulty of that set and how well you have prepared.
