Hi Sahil, when you say Building design engineer, then I am assuming you are referring to Structural Engineering. Technically speaking, to become a structural design engineer, the companies would expect that you have at least post graduate level qualification in structural Engineering. It could be either a Masters level qualification

After doing mtech in chemical engineering from iit one will easily gets job in various companies. There is a good career in researche field so you can pursue in that also. Also you can give gate exam for jobs in PSU, or go for teaching field in collges

However you need to verify with college itseld for MBa program as the eligibility is fluid an dmay change every year so its important to be updated.
