The score is valid for 3 years from the date of announcement of the GATE results. However best out of the 2 will be taken in terms of the score.

There are always two ways to go abroad. Either immigration or studies. Immediately after b.tech if some one wants to go abroad then the only way is to choose a country, university and course and start your preparation for the same.
