It depends on if seats are vacant till your rank, if seat is not available in tfw category and is available in general category then general category rank will be considered. If  seats are available in both the categories then you can chose in which category you want

Noo...u are not qualified in gate exam.u don't have any chance for getting admission in reputed college in India..

But u can take admission in regional private college who give direct admission without considered gate score....
