Yes, you have chances of getting CS and IS in MIT as your rank is quite good. The cut off rank is generally within 200.

When compare to other branches like cse ,ece and all the number of companies coming to this college is little less in number. But for the top level students of civil is getting placed with a good cpa.

In my view, Only the south 4 NIT's (tirchy, surathkal, warangal, calicut)  and NIT Allahabad are good for M.Tech. This opinion is based on the kind of research work that happens in these institutes and the placements the students get.

I would advice that you should write both the exams as selection is based on your rank and it doesn't matter that how many entrance you are giving. The thing matter is that the rank you achieved or the score which ever is considered and yes it is feasible
