Yes, you will get a seat in the Osmania university for your GATE score. It's a very good score, congrats on that Dadevyshnavi. You might also get in the Jntuh for your GATE score.

the cut off for mechanical engineering in GATE 2017 was 32.87 so you can expect that this year also it would be around that only.
since you have got 36 marks only so i want think that is enough for getting admission in any of the reputed colleges

Mostly M.Tech admissions are based on GATE scores - the normalized ones. Moreover this will depend also on the specialization you will take up. If its CS, chances are pretty slim. Any other M.Tech you have to check the specialization and the cutoff. Check this article and go to each
