There is no reserved seat for Nepali students in the M.tech programme through GATE. There are caste-based reservations though i.e., for SC/ST/OBC. But the nationality for claiming those too should be Indian.
yes there will be nri quota.
You can get admission in Gujrat without GATE on the basis of your Score in Btech, but the quality of College is not assured.
It is always better to write gate and then choose college.
