For transportation eng. M.Tech in VTU you need a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Transportation Engineering or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch

Yes you can choose M.Tech for further studying after doing your B.Tech degree in Automobile Engineering by appearing the GATE examination.
IIT mandi is still no ready to start a new course... They are not ready to plan a new course .So , at this moment there are no chances ..
