hello , i got 987 rank in tspgecet 2018 & i belong to BC-E category , can i had a chance to get a seat in ou / jntuh (fr mechanical).

Yes you can get seat in jntuh because mech cut off rank for bc-e is 2243

Hello dear..

I'd say atleast in the top 50 unless you opt for something less popular like Biomedical Engineering. Most of the seats are filled through GATE, so even a top 50 rank provides no guarantee

First buy a question bank of MANIPAL ENTRANCE EXAM. Then go through it and realise your weak as well as strong topics after that you may go for books as per requirement .

For maths rs aggarwal is enough .

For physics pradeep and ncert.

Chemistry ncert .

Im pursuing B. Tech in Production and Industrial. Can I give the paper of Mechanical Branch in GATE and be eligible for Mechanical PSUs?

Yes you can.
Both branches have almost similar syllabus.
But to be honest mechanical has really high competition as compared to production.
It would be easy for you to score better rank in production than mechanical.
Also PSUs have vacancies for production branch too.

College doesn't matter both the colleges are good..but you need to choose the right career path...keep calm and think about which branch is based upon your interest...

There are still some colleges whose seats have not been filled even after counselling.So there are chances for you to get B.E mech..but if you need good colleges kindly go for management quota..

You have to clear jee mains exam with very high rank to get admission in any NIT college.And you can get admission with you preffered course.
