Mechanical Engineering
Dear candidate there are chances to change your stream from B.Tech one to a different stream in M.Tech through GATE Examination. When you appear for GATE then you have to crack it with a good rank followed by changing your stream to IT during Application. If you crack the exam, you would get a chance to do M.Tech in IT in any renowned college or University and pursue your future plans. Prepare well for the exam and go for the branch you like,
Good luck!!
Hello,
The rank which you have scored in the above mentioned examination is a good one and also the college in which you are looking for admission is one of the best college with a good record but only on the rank it is difficult to predict the admission because it depends on many more factors such as branches and cutoffs of that college and also number of candidates applying hence, firstly you should do a proper research regarding the same and than you can go with the colleges you are looking for and also you should keep more options of colleges so that your chance if getting seats in any of the colleges will be better.
Thank you..

TGT shuld hve Bhelrs Degree r equivlent frm regnized University with 50% mrks r bve in ggregte nd in the nerned subjet fr reruitment nd B.Ed. r equivlent qulifitin frm regnized University.

Dear candidate if you make a thorough analysis onto the Placement trends of past few years of GGU Institute, Bilaspur, firstly you need to focus a lot on your studies, give too much effort and placement rate is very poor here!! You will be quite disappointed with their placements. Only few companies visit the campus every year, around 8-10 students are placed, median offered salary package is around 2-3 LPA.

Hello, I hope you are doing well
Before asking about what branch is better for giving GATE, you should know that if you are targeting for Govt. PSUs you can't get into them regardless of the branch you give gate in, because only B. Tech in ME students could get the opportunity to work in PSUs. You can still try your luck though.
Also, you should see where your interest lies because at the end you would have to do M. Tech in that course only. GATE through PI is difficult because you will have to get a very good rank (AIR 30-50) to get into top IITs for M. Tech or else you will end up in newer IITs.
Hope this helps.
Hello candidate,
The average annual salary of mechanical engineering in india is 3,87,000 ( 32,250 per month)
Hope this will help you,
Thank you.
The infrastructure and the facilities provided by the college are very good. The college provides better hostel facilities. The faculties are also good and helpful. The placement in this college is not good. So, if you are planning for some government exams or higher studies, then only you should choose this college.
Hope your doubts are cleared. Thank you.
Hi Ganesh,
It is dependent.
Mechanical engineers' wages in the current Indian economic situation are heavily reliant on the following verticals.

2) M-Tech- 50-60k for freshers, 80k after 4+ years of experience.
UNIVERSITY: (for B-tech freshers, pvt. cos.)
1) 45-60k for Class-A college education.
2) $25-30k for a Class-B college education.
3) 12-22k for a Class-C college education.
ADMINISTRATION'S NATURE:
1) Private Organization- Pattern is the same as Qualification.
2) The government: (for B-Tech freshers, excl. training, excl. annual allowance, as per 6th pay)
1) Maharatna- 65, 000
2) Navranta- 52,000
3) Miniratna- 37,500
I understand that my response may not meet your expectations, but the question is not that straightforward. It is also worth noting that I see a good future for mechanical engineers in the next years.
In India, the average income for a mechanical engineer is 360,000 rupees per year, or 185 rupees per hour. Entry-level salaries begin at 225,000 per year, with most experienced workers earning up to 700,913 per year.
