However, for Ramapuram Campus Computer Science and Engineering cutoff was 65000 and for Mechanical Engineering was 70000.

Mechanical Engineering at IIT Roorkee is a better option. It is the oldest Engineering college in India and Mechanical is a fairly vast field, often called the Evergreen branch of Engineering.
It's good enough, faculties are fine, labs do have equipments, infrastructure is ok.
