Firstly,i would tell you about the JEE advanced because it creates the main difference.
For general category,around 50 % marks will get you some decent branch .
If you want to take CSE in old IIT’s you should score around 70 % marks.

NIT Durgapur don't offer Instrumentation branch.
If you want to become a software engineer you can choose CSE branch.
According, to previous year cut off you should have around 200 marks in JEE Main to get CSE branch in other state quota.
