There is no reserved seat for Nepali students in the M.tech programme through GATE. There are caste-based reservations though i.e., for SC/ST/OBC. But the nationality for claiming those too should be Indian.

According, to previous year cut off you should score around 170 marks in your exam to get mechanical engineering in OBC caregory in other state quota.

After normalisation, your marks would somewhere lie near about 74, and you're from general category, Yes you can expect a call, but you're on margin line because getting a call would also require same marks as you're getting (74)
