I have got 25983 rank inAEEE can I get a seat in amrita banglore campus in mechanical engineering

Tanisha chaudhary 17th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

With a rank of 25,983 in AEEE 2025, you stand a good probability to grab a seat in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Bengaluru campus.

Why?

  1. Cutoffs for Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Bengaluru in previous years have generally been much higher (less competitive) than the cutoffs for CSE or ECE.
  2. For ME (Mechanical Engineering), the closing rank at Bengaluru campus has generally been in the range of 20,000 and 35,000 or even greater in subsequent rounds.
  3. Various sources report that candidates with ranks between 25,000 have obtained positions in branches such as Mechanical at Amrita Bengaluru and Amritapuri campuses.

Key Points:

  • Cutoffs can vary every year depending on applicant numbers, toughness level, and seat availability. The exam was tougher for 2025, hence the cutoffs might fall a bit this time.
  • You must undergo the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) and give your preferences for Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Bengaluru campus.

Conclusion:

With your rank of 25,983 in AEEE, you are eligible and likely to obtain a seat in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Bengaluru campus during regular counselling rounds. Be sure to register and undergo CSAP to ensure maximum opportunities.

I have got 25983 rank inAEEE can I get a seat in amrita banglore campus in mechanical engineering

gopi 17th May, 2025

Hello Naveen,

Having an AEEE rank of 25,983, securing a seat in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Bangalore campus may prove to be difficult, since the cutoff ranks for this branch are generally much lower (better). Seats in Mechanical Engineering are generally filled with candidates who have ranks well within the top 10,000 to 15,000. Admission also depends upon other factors such as category, availability of seats, and rounds of counselling.

I suggest you referring official Amrita admission website or get in touch with the admissions department to ensure you get the latest and most precise cutoff information.

I got 122/240 in MET Is there any chance of getting mechanical stream in MET

Nikita shahi 27th Jul, 2025

Hi,

With a score of 122 out of 240 in MET , you do stand a moderate chance of getting into the Mechanical Engineering stream, depending on the year’s cut-offs and the round of counselling. In recent years, the cut-off for Mechanical Engineering has typically hovered between 100–135, though it varies based on the number of applicants and seat availability.

Since your score is quite close to the average cut-off range, you might get Mechanical Engineering in later rounds or at the Manipal Jaipur or Sikkim campuses, if not the main Manipal campus initially. Make sure you participate in all rounds of counselling and keep your options flexible.

currently i am persuing Diploma in mechanical engineering, would like to enroll for lateral Btech next year 2026-2017.. how is the process

Yash Teotia 6th Aug, 2025

Hello Rishikesh

For doing Btech after diplomal, first of all you need to complete your 3 year diploma. After that, you will need to give a Lateral entry entrance exam such as LEET, JELET, AP ECET, TS ECET etc. After that you need to attend the counselling of that particular exam and if your marks are good, you will be allotted a seat directly into 2nd year in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry).

Thank You!!!

My cut off166.5 in cbse can i get seat in mechanical

SHUBHANGI SINHA 14th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Without knowing the exact college and your category, it's hard to say with certainty if a cutoff of 166.5 will be enough for a mechanical engineering seat. With that score, it could be difficult to get into a highly competitive program at a prestigious university, nevertheless, based on general tendencies.
