Why?
Key Points:
Conclusion:
With your rank of 25,983 in AEEE, you are eligible and likely to obtain a seat in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Bengaluru campus during regular counselling rounds. Be sure to register and undergo CSAP to ensure maximum opportunities.
Hello Naveen,
Having an AEEE rank of 25,983, securing a seat in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Bangalore campus may prove to be difficult, since the cutoff ranks for this branch are generally much lower (better). Seats in Mechanical Engineering are generally filled with candidates who have ranks well within the top 10,000 to 15,000. Admission also depends upon other factors such as category, availability of seats, and rounds of counselling. I suggest you referring official Amrita admission website or get in touch with the admissions department to ensure you get the latest and most precise cutoff information.
Hi,
With a score of 122 out of 240 in MET , you do stand a moderate chance of getting into the Mechanical Engineering stream, depending on the year’s cut-offs and the round of counselling. In recent years, the cut-off for Mechanical Engineering has typically hovered between 100–135, though it varies based on the number of applicants and seat availability.
Since your score is quite close to the average cut-off range, you might get Mechanical Engineering in later rounds or at the Manipal Jaipur or Sikkim campuses, if not the main Manipal campus initially. Make sure you participate in all rounds of counselling and keep your options flexible.
Hello Rishikesh
For doing Btech after diplomal, first of all you need to complete your 3 year diploma. After that, you will need to give a Lateral entry entrance exam such as LEET, JELET, AP ECET, TS ECET etc. After that you need to attend the counselling of that particular exam and if your marks are good, you will be allotted a seat directly into 2nd year in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry).
Thank You!!!

Though 33608 is a strong rank, your chances of getting Mechanical Engineering at VIT (Vellore) are uncertain and depend on your category, campus preference, and seat availability. It's recommended to explore your options across different campuses and categories during the counselling process . I am a VITIAN and your score may place you into VIT CHENNAI in category 1 or 2
Hello,
Without knowing the exact college and your category, it's hard to say with certainty if a cutoff of 166.5 will be enough for a mechanical engineering seat. With that score, it could be difficult to get into a highly competitive program at a prestigious university, nevertheless, based on general tendencies.
