With your rank getting Mechanical Engineering at Osmania is difficult. The final TS- EAMCET closing rank for mechanical was 19000 in 2020 for SC category and the trends will be similar.

For other courses, NIT Warangal maybe reccomended. But for mechanical and mining courses, IIT Dhanbad is preferred. It also gives you the IITian tag, which helps you to get directly into short lists of various internships and can directly proceed to the interview. At the same time, someone who graduates from NITs would have to give aptitude tests and then clear an interview.
Also, note IIT Dhanbad has NIRF ranking 11th while NIT Warangal has only 19th.

The employment growth rate of mechanical engineers is expected to increase by 9% from 2016 – 2026. Since their employment is in various industries the growth in each industry will impact the overall growth in employment.
But if you don't want to go for this course then only you will.go for it. It's all your choice.
