To get into an NIT (any branch) try to get atleast 140+ in JEE Mains. But if you want to get CS/IT or any other core engineering branch then the cutoff are as follows :-
CS/IT : 195+
MECH : 190+
ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS : 185+
CIVIL : 168+
