I got 519 in HSE+2 exam and I got 61.59%ile in jee session 3 can I get seat in sastra University mechanical engineering department.

ANKITA SONI 10th Sep, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

SASTRA University revised its engineering admission for 2021 with 50% of seats based on class 12 scores and the remaining 50% based on class 12 and JEE Main scores given equal weightage.

From the previous data about SASTRA University, there is no such criteria ( minimum JEE marks) for admission in to SASTRA University. It has a separate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2.

STREAM 1

70% seats of every branch are filled through stream 1 based on class 12% (75% after normalization) + JEE MAIN score (25%).

STREAM 2

30% seats of every branch are filled through stream 2 based on 12th %.

NOTE - 1. There is no score of getting admission for JEE MAIN score below 40 in stream 1.

2. All applicants will be eligible for both the stream and need not to submit two separate application form.

So you can apply for SASTA University, with your boards marks you might get a seat. Hope this will help you.

ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
