Hi Aman,
Hope you are doing well. See Netaji Subhas University of Technology is a great institute to be in. However, it is all the more known only for its Computer related branches (including IT). While it has a real good placement scenario in software fields, its placements in core is not at par.
Therefore, it is recommended that you look for other opportunities.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
when it comes to courses, Industrial was probably the least math intense.
Mining and biomedical engineering also also less math intense, though they would overlap with civil & mechanical.
biomedical would have a number of biology-related courses
On the opposite end of the scale, electrical is considered one of the most math intense, as would mechanical & aerospace.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
Dear student,
Mechanical Engineering is not tough. Mostly it includes practical things. Students who are interested in practical things rather than virtual coding etc, they can opt for Mechanical Engineering.
Mostly by your 2 nd sem or 3 rd Sem Mathematics subjects will be over and it is same with all other branches. Mechanical Engineering needs calculations and not literal Mathematics like Double Integration, Complex Numbers etc. Some of the problems will be formula based and rest will be based on logic you apply to solve it.

See there are no such cases that a girl can't take any branch or there are no such fields which are labeled for boys only. So you and you should choose the subject you like. Now from a placement and a job perspective its better to go for IT because in most of the core fields the jobs are quite low and as a result many have to work in the IT sector. But as you are in top NIT's so you will have core placements but the packages will again be lower for the core fields. So if you wish to have a placement with greater salary then this can be the progression you should follow to prioritize:

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
As all the branches have their own position. Whatever your interest is, take that course as here every courses is similar in terms of standards. As far as computers and electrical courses (especially ECE), you will have a lot of companies to sit on in the final year. Mechanical, Civil have their own sort of companies. Biotechnology and Chemical are concerned, you will have relatively less number of companies. But that's secondary. It all depends on how you study, and your interest matters. SASTRA provide Aerospace, you can also give a try as it is one of the good University for research and innovation. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
