Mechanical Engineering
Hello,
Last year the cut off was as follows in final phase for general category to get admission to Mechanical Engineering
Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in Mechanical Engineering in the preferred institutes. You may have to seek admission in any other college. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below

To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you may use our TS EAMCET College Predictor Tool

See after Diploma if you wish to get into BTech courses then you need to attempt lateral entry examination which provides you admission directly to the 2nd year of BE/BTech course. Now yeah! you can change your trade in your BTech/BE course and there will be no such restriction for the selection of the course. So yeah! you can go for BTech ECE after your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

You are doing diploma in mechanical engineering. Which is great.. After completing your diploma you can get lateral entry in 2nd year BTech in engineering colleges. But you don't want to pursue engineering I guess.
So yes you can join hotel management course. Hotel management have 2 types course one is for three years and another one is for four years. You have to choose which course you want and take admission. But in hotel management you have to study from 1st year.
All the best.
Hello Aspirant,

MSU Mechanical Engineering placement is overall good. Every year more than 85% of the students gets placed during college campusing. Highest Package attained by a student of MSU is around 30 LPA . With Average Package ranging around 5 LPA .
NIRMA is approved by AICTE, UCG, NBA and NAAC Accreditation Grade 'A'.
90% of the students gets placed during college campusing. Highest Package attained by a student of NIRMA is around 46 LPA . With Average Package ranging between 5-7 LPA.

Hi Sanjay,
MAHE (Manipal Academy of higher Education) has 5 rounds of counselling via MET exam (Manipal Entrance Test) in total. You score 11000 rank in MET, Got a seat in Mechanical engineering in first counselling, But you are not satisfied. Don't worry you can go with the second counseling and update all your choices which you missed in first counselling. Second Counselling dates are released on there official website. It will have the same process as that of first counselling . Fresh Counseling do have registration fees which is non transferable. If you paid the 1st installment of fees for mechanical program it will be on hold if your opting for second counselling. If you get a seat in second counseling the amount is transferable for that particular program you opted for so as your original certificates.
Second counselling dates for fresh registration will commence from 29th July 2021 - 02 Aug 2021. You can modify your choices in this time duration. Seat allotment for second counselling will held on 4th August 2021. So make a good decision for selection of course before going with second counselling. Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
If you are eligible, you may apply for NITs. For mechanical engineering, you may join in NIT Nagpur or NIT Surat. Because there are too many differences between the teaching staff-faculty, the school, the audience, and so on in NITs or IIITs. However, if you really want the to work in IT, you should study CS at IIIT. Which branch you choose is entirely up to you.
So choose your branch and college wisely, Because branch discribe your future and college discribe your placments.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
The path for doing CA starts from clearing CPT. Students interested in enrolling for the CA Course after Class XIIth would be required to appear for CPT Exam. CPT Exam is held twice every year in the month of June and December. The eligibility criteria for CPT exam is that a candidate should have passed 10+2 exam with a recognized board. So, i would suggest you to not allow your ward to do Diploma course otherwise he will be ineligible for pursuing CA. I would suggest you to let him take admission in Commerce in class 11th and 12th as this will help in cracking CPT. Although science stream students can also appear in CPT, but taking commerce will give huge advantage.
