Hello aspirant,

First of all ceramic, metallurgical, mining or environmental engineering were somewhat newer branches of engineering according to industrial needs. In India there were not so much companies which recruit students from this respective branches.

Again mechanical, electrical, computers and communication engineering were regarded as core branches of engineering.
