can anyone say preparation tips for gate exam for a mechanical engineering third year student ?

Shja 27th Jul, 2021
Hello Ganesh,

GATE exam is to be taken seriously. There are many aspirants so you need to work hard to make your mark. If keep things simple and stay consistent it's not very tough.
Firstly go through the syllabus twice or thrice and set the syllabus in your mind first. The take time to divide your syllabus in parts and make a study plan. Set your targets. Always stay motivated and stay away from toxic people who demotivate you. Eat healthy food and set your sleep schedule so that you don't oversleep and reduce your study hours. Since, you are an engineering student you already have a lot on your plate and you don't want any distraction in your life. I hope you understand what I mean. Balanced life will always help you succeed.
Practice maximum number of mock tests. Previous year papers are very important and should not be ignored. Set monthly/weekly targets and never be out of practice.

I got 95.20 % in SSC ,so will I get admission in VJTI for mechanical diploma ?

shreyakhedkar05 25th Jul, 2021
Hello,
VJTI, Mumbai is one of the reputed colleges. It offers various courses in graduation and diploma. Scoring 90+ percentage in 10th is considered good for the admission in diploma course here. The cutoff for the Mechanical branch which is a core branch is in the range of 91-95%. It might change slightly this year but the range would be almost the same. Considering your percentage you have a good chance of getting a branch of your choice.
Hope this information helps, All the best.!!
