mechanical engineering vs computer science engineering

siddharthabiswas609 1st Aug, 2021
Hello Aspirant,
Well  it completely depends on you, which stream interests you the most.
In Mechanical engineering:  Candidates who choose mechanical engineers  means designing, developing, and testing physical tools and machinery, whether they are used in factories and power plants or hospitals. Their skills are applicable to a diversity of industries and often put them at the leading edge of new industrial advances.
In Computer science Engineering: Candidates who want to choose B.Tech in CSE must know that the course deals with the computing of the solutions. In simple words, identifying the problems and solving the same with the assistance of scientific and mathematical principles. Here, you do not work on physical tools and solve the issues through  digitally.

These days  the competition in Computer Science engineering has increased as Companies dont require your background analysis of whether you are from Computer science or not and in some companies they don't even wanna know whether you are even graduate or not, if you know how to code and have done some good projects in the profile you want to work.

Both stream has lots of opportunities and is interesting, it upto you which stream interests you more and take up that

Good luck

which college is best for mechanical branch in jaipur like JECRC, SKIT, ARYA, POORNIMA, VIT

siddharthabiswas609 31st Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant,
SKIT Jaipur is a good college specially for CSE department and mechanical engineering.
To be practical SKIT ranks one in North India. It has several achievements in the field of mechanical and technical area. Students of SKIT have taken parts in several IIT fests and have done some great work .

JECRC IS  Also one of best institute in jaipur. Placement is very good here . Students of all the three colleges of JECRC foundation are made to sit in every placement if the company is coming in any of the campus.

Similarly other colleges you mentioned are also good with good infrastructure but education and placement are bit less than the other two.

But I would suggest you try for SKIT because of the education is way better than other colleges and also the placement rate is high in SKIT.

How to increase accuracy in BITSAT ? I complete my mock tests in 2-2:30 hrs and my score is always around 289-290 What should I do to increase my marks to 330-400 ?

Abhishek Roy 19th Jun, 2021

I believe Im somewhat in a right place to guide you regarding BITSAT Preparation. I myself used to score between 250-260 in BITSAT Mock Tests, but ended with 319 in my BITSAT Attempt. So I believe youre currently in a very good stead with scoring around 280 in 2-2.5 hours, and can easily secure upto 350 in Final Attempt. You must just use your full test duration, have a perfect test taking strategy and proper revision before the Examination. My strategy was finishing Chemistry, Logical Reasoning and English sections with nearly 100% Accuracy in the first 45-60 minutes, followed by devoting a good time for Mathematics and Physics sections. My strength was Mathematics, hence I somewhat devoted the 60 minutes for Mathematics, followed by 30-40 minutes for Physics. In an exam like BITSAT you cant really go back and verify Questions as the Number of Questions are more and you even have a bery good scope of scoring in the Bonus Section. Hence must always keep the Last 30 Minutes for Bonus. Dont hurry and try securing atleast 10/12 Bonus Questions correctly.

The only preparation you need for BITSAT if few mock tests besides having had a very steady preparation for JEE. Do revise all formulae, refer Handbooks as Questions are somewhat direct without much Complexity. But remember Capitalize on 4 Things, Chemistry, Logical Reasoning, Verbal and Bonus Questions. There's no reason you loose out in these sections.

my cut off is 173.90 , I like to study CSE, ECE, IT , mechanical, any one of this . I can get seat in good engineering college in tamilnadu. I am MBC.

Aman Mishra 29th Jul, 2021

Hello,

As i can see that you have mentioned the marks of the exam which you have attempted for admission, but as you have not mentioned the name of the entrance exam in which you have secured such a decent marks so saying about the admission in college would not be that easy. So i can suggest you to first try to calculate your rank by using any of the rank predictor and you will be easily getting your rank and after that you can check for the colleges accepting your particular exam and than compare your rank with the cutoffs of that college and easily you will able to know that where you have a more chance of securing admission also the above mentioned field by you are some of the core and most demanding fields among students hence, you can surely find a tough competition by the students for getting this fields in any colleges

Thank you..
