Hello,
The rank based on your percentile is going to be in between 63462 - 71340. To find your overall expected rank you can use our JEE Man rank predictor tool https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor/
Your rank based on the category is going to be anywhere around 8000. Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in
You do not have chances of getting seat in NITs in CSE/IT/Mechanical considering the previous year cut off. You need to score a little above 96 percentile to have decent chances of getting seat in NIT in preferred branch. Cut off is subjected to change depending on factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
To know the college in which you may get seat you can use our JEE Main college predictor tool

ISRO i.e Indian space research organization recruits different position like technician, graduate engineer or scientist B, scientific officer etc. however based on your highest qualifications you may apply for ISRO recruitment process, from past 3-4 years ISRO has recruited graduate engineer or scientist B pst, candidates who holds a bachelor degree i.e b.e or b.tech In mechanical engineering/ computer science/ electronics and communication engineering were eligible to apply. however it also depends on the organization, how many vacancies or position they would recruit for coming years. so you should study hard and after completing the diploma or bachelor degree you should join in relevant sectors apart from ISRO to Gain experience. so study sincerely.
Hi Kaushal!
To get admission in mechanical engineering (B.Tech/diploma/B.E.) first you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the college in which you want admission and it varies from college to college, but in general it is around atleast 50% in 10+2 with the required subject from a recognized board. Next, there are two ways of admission: either by merit or by entrance exam. There are entrance exams on national level, state level and university level. National level entrance exam's score are valid in almost all the colleges of India and admission in done by All India Counselling or state counselling. State level entrance exams are valid only for the colleges belonging to that state. State counselling takes admission on the basis of marks/rank achieved by the candidate. And same is for university level exam, but by this exam you can take admission only in that college. You can get more details here:

Dear aspirant ,
As you have got 62 percentile in tancet 2021. I would like to tell you that it is very difficult to grab a seat in good colleges like University of Madras, Anna university as these colleges have really high cut off .
For college cut off you can check out the link given below-

Being interested in Mechanical and Computation Fields, I believe you should focus your Interests on research areas like Automation, Robotics, Electric Vehicle Simulations as well as Industry 4.O which focusses on everything where AI and Machine Learning Methods are applied to Manufacturing Setup. After BE in Mechanical, you may pursue M.Tech from some of the Good IITs or Institutes like IISc Bangalore, either in Mechanical or Interdisciplinary branches like Robotics & Automation, Intelligent Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Design, etc. Dont totally move into the CSE Sector, there are many opportunities in the Mechanical Engineering Sector which imposes direct relevance to Computational Methods.
As far as GATE is concerned, you may appear for GATE CSE incase you want to pursue M.Tech in CSE, but you may also prepare for GATE ME, as most of these Interdisciplinary Branches accept Mechanical Engineering these days.
If your query is regarding campus placement then yes, you can be placed in a company through campus placement if you strategically prepare for placements. You need to first decide in which field you want to pursue your career. If it is software field then you need to learn programming languages such as C, C++, JAVA, ORACLE etc. If it's core job then you need to prepare accordingly. If you want to pursue your career in designing field then you need to learn designing softwares like AUTO CAD, CREO, Solidworks, CATIA etc. Dedicate 3-6 months to learn at least 1-2 designing softwares to boost your career. Besides the skills for any campus placement there will a written test in which is basically to test the Aptitude and Technical skills. So brush up the concepts that you have learnt and practice quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning part. Simultaneously prepare yourself for interview. You also need to design your resume. You can list the major competitions tht you have won in the resume to add value to it. So if you start preparing from now onwards you can crack the campus placement and get placed in a company.
As far as the recent trends are concerned, Computer Science will fetch you far better placement opportunities and salaries as compared to Mechanical stream. Many the colleges touch above 90% placement percentage in CS branch, however, the placement percentage of Mechanical branch is slightly lower.
However, there are many Mechanical candidates who get recruited in IT sector companies. Ultimately, placements and career solely depends on the skills of the candidates.
Hope this helps!
see eligibility criteria for m.tech in bio medical engineering is candidates must have completed bachelors degree on relevant discipline. however In India admission to m.tech course in tier 1 institute is based on gate score. to admission in biomedical stream you have to appear in gate . IIT bombay offers m.tech in biomedical engineering for non departments students. eligibility criteria is candidates must complete the bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering (BM), Biotechnology (BT), Chemical Engineering (CH), Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering (EC), Engineering Physics (EP), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Metallurgy & Materials Science (MT), Pharmaceutical Technology (PY), with valid gate score.
